Terminal Profile:
Dappar is conveniently located on the National Highway between Ambala and Chandigarh and is a half an hour drive from Chandigarh and Ambala. The terminal intends to cater to the traffic of the industrial hinterland of Chandigarh, Haryana, Baddi area in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. In fact, it was a long felt need of the trade to have this facility in this area. The cargo, which is hitherto moving to Tughlakabad and Mumbai and other Western Gateway Ports, can be handled here and after its custom clearance, can move directly to the Ports for onward shipment on Vessels. The terminal has the direct connectivity to all the ports and regular train services will be run on regular basis based on the demand of the traffic. It has a full rake length siding as such a full rake with a complement of 90 containers can be handled easily.
RCT/Dappar is equipped with modern state of art infrastructure. It has all the facilities required for handling of containers and domestic cargo. To handle containers efficiently, latest technology cranes have been positioned. There is one Loaded Reach Stacker, one loaded sling crane & trailer for movement of 20/40’ loaded/empty boxes. All modern and latest practices of containers handling and storage are followed for seamless operation and for the benefit of the trade. We have a terminal management system for EXIM and Domestic traffic. All activities are performed with the computer generated job orders. There is no room for manipulation of any transaction. Transparency in all the activities is maintained all the time
In order to have a fast connectivity to all the nodal points we have satellite communication system installed at the terminal through this we maintain regular touch with all the Depots. There is a provision for on line track and tracing system of containers to which our customers can have access to know current location of their containers.We have fleet of wagons with latest technology, which run at a speed of mail express train and their running is monitored at Railway Board level. There is a plan to run these trains on regular basis to major ports & local destinations. CONCOR provides a liberal PDA facility to its customers and this will be extended to customers patronizing RCT/Dappar

Rail linked combined domestic and exim terminal
DCT/PHR is one of the main domestic terminals in north India after the DCT/TKD. Presently we are getting 500-600 loaded containers from various stations and another 500-600 empty containers from other chassis destuffing points like Suranassi, Batala, Govindgarh, Shanewal etc. We supply approx. 1100-1200 empty fit containers to our esteemed customers like Nestle, Birla White Cement Ltd, J.K. White Cement Ltd. and Indian Oil Corp. etc. Our throughput is approximately 30, 000 teu’s annually.
DCT/Phillaur is situated on Ludhiana-Jalandhar highway while the most of the industries are on Ambala-Ludhiana highway so it is in just opposite direction for the customers to bring the cargo to Phillaur for onward dispatch to destination. So due to the proximity to the Delhi he prefers to take his cargo to Delhi or to the destination by road. In this competitive environment also our outward traffic is approx. 40-50 Teu’s per month and we are trying continuously to enhance the outward traffic.
Recently outward movement has started from DCT/PHR to GIM.

ICD DDL is situated on the main line on JAMMU-AMRITSAR-DELHI and only next to Ludhiana on Ludhiana-Ambala section. ICD-DDL is contiguously situated with the DDL railway yard. Ludhiana has its name in Punjab and whole of India due to large number of cottage and small scale wollen industries for hosiery and is also rightly called as the Manchester of India. This city is ideally located in the middle of the state and conveniently approachable from the industries spread all over Punjab, hence rightly called the Industrial capital of the State, therefore the best choice for the ICD to act as Hub centre. This ICD caters to the other neighbouring states of Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Haryana and Rajasthan.
ICD has a modern infrastructure, 90% of the area is paved with concrete block flooring using latest technology. There are modern warehouses both for import and export handling of cargo with an area of 5000 sq. Mtrs.. We have the facility of customs clearance of export & import cargo and storage of customs cleared cargo, consolidation of LCL cargo, office of the Asst. Commissioner of Customs having his team of officers who takes care of all customs clearance.
There are more than 6000 exporters and as many as 5000 importers using CONCOR facility in a big way.
Our CFS is being notified by Customs for clearance of Air Cargo. Air cargo traffic from our CFS to Airport at Amritsar and New Delhi will be commenced.

- Stacking capacity of ICD is more than 4000 import, export & empty containers in an area of 35.07 acres of land.
- Spacious warehouse in an area of 3000 sq. Mtrs and with 86 ground slots for storage of import and export cargo with forklift facilities for unloading and loading of cargo from trucks and for stuffing and destuffing.
- Separate warehouse measuring 2000 sq. mtrs for LCL consolidation.
- Facility for direct stuffing & destuffing.
- Facility for factory stuffing & destuffing of containers including multimodal transportation.
- Warehouse has eight gates for unloading and loading of cargo and facility for simultaneous stuffing of 60 containers at one point of time.
- Examination facility by Customs as A.C.Customs alongwith his team is housed at our CFS itself, who takes care of examination and supervision.
- Sufficient circulating area for truck movement while destuffing the import HMS cargo.
- There are two gates at ICD which takes care of smooth and flexible movement of trucks and trailers to avoid congestion even outside the ICD.
- Infrastructure for EDI is being constructed at the ground floor of Customs building which will also have service centre room for Customs.
- Fully computerised environment of working with all EXIM procedures being complied through system.
- We have given a liberal cheque/ PDA facility to the trade.
- A facility of 60 ton capacity weighbridge for weighment of containers within ICD has been commissioned in April 2002.
- 12 rooms for offices of Shipping lines, CHAs, freight forwarders, LCL consolidators is already in place besides the administrative building.
- We are also providing the specialised facility of container repairs as per ICL standards.
- 160 KVA backup generator for providing uninterrupted power supply for ICD.
- All the ICDs throughout the country are linked with V-SAT communication system for efficient interface and data transfer.

Terminal profile of Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi:
Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad was commissioned on 1st September 1993. It is situated on southeast of delhi. It is the flagship terminal of CONCOR and is pioneer in development of containerisation in the country. ICD/TKD is India's biggest dry port. Its hinterland comprises of all states of Northern and Western India. ICD/TKD has daily train services to gateway ports, JNPT, GTIL, NSCT, PPSP and MDPT. It has new state of the art equipment and facilities, coupled with an excellent rail linkages to the gateway ports. It also touches the NH-2 and is conveniently located, having approach to major roads in Delhi connecting all National Highways leading out of the state. It is also certified ISO 9001-2008.

This ICD was set up along with warehousing facility in the year 2003. The CFS activity of ICD/Rewari was taken over on Nov, 2008 from M/s Haryana Warehousing Corporation and now the overall management & operation of ICD is taken care by CONCOR. ICD/REWARI is situated on the main line of DELHI-JAIPUR and 12 kms inside from the NH-8 (DELHI-JAIPUR). ICD-RE is ideally situated to cater to the needs of the states of Haryana and Rajasthan , particularly the industrial areas of Gurgaon, Bhiwani, Kund, Narnaul, Manesar, Bawal, Bahadurgarh, Bhiwadi, Shajahanpur, Alwar, Neemrana, Bahror and along with areas like Kundli, Sonipat, Panipat, karnal, Kurukshetra, Hissar and Rothak. We have a state-of-art technology container handling equipments, paved yard area for container stacking and specialized high speed BLC wagons for fast & efficient transportation of EXIM and Domestic containers. We have well defined policies and procedures of working which are implemented and practiced in day to day working resulting to a systematized way of working.

TRAIN SCHEDULE
- We have schedule train services from ICD/RE for movement of export containers directly for all ports, and also have the option of moving trains via Jaipur for quicker evacuation of containers.
- Import containers are moved from Ports to ICD/RE directly. This arrangement has been done to fulfill the demand of trade/importers for faster service for ICD/RE containers.
