Vigilance Corner CVC plays a pivotal role in uprooting and eradicating corruption among the Government Machineries. Vigilance Department in JNPT is serving as a Central Agency & striving for the integrity and efficiency in the organisation. Vigilance work can be successful and productive with the help of all Officers and Employees.

Ways and means for making complaints

  • JNPT Vigilance department have put the boards at different places with telephone numbers, e-mail ids and address of CVO, CBI and CVC.
  • JNPT Vigilance department have put the complaint box for the delay in refund of EMD amount submitted by the tenderer.
  • The names of the Vigilance Officers with telephone numbers and e-mail id are displayed on the JNPT website.

Leveraging Technology

  • All the work contracts and the procurement, auction above Rs. 2 Lakhs is being done by e-procurement mode.
  • The pending bills are displayed on website every fortnightly. Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT), Tender documents, Corrigendum is also published on JNPT website and CPP portal.
  • The details of registered vendors in JNPT are published on JNPT Website.
  • The details of Procurement and the Work contracts are published and updated on JNPT website on monthly basis.

Integrity Pact

Since JNPT has implemented the Integrity Pact, complaints regarding contracts above Rs 50 Crores and purchase of material above Rs 5 Crores may be referred to the Independent External Monitor (IEM) whose name and contact details are given below:

Vigilance complaints received through email would be downloaded and printed and taken up for further action as above. Complaints received through email, which do not have name or complete postal address, will be treated as anonymous/pseudonymous and filed.

After owning the complaint by the complainant, the investigation will be carried out and based on the findings in the investigation, the action as deemed fit will be taken.

Complaints can also be lodged by addressing the letter/email directly to the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) by giving the specific facts of the matter relating to corruption. The complaints can also be lodged directly on CVC’s website -
