The Port Facility Security Assessment was carried out in June, 2003 by M/s Indian Register of Shipping as Recognised Security Organisation.

The Port Facility Security Plan prepared by M/s Indian Register of Shipping was approved by Directorate General of Shipping as Designate Authority in October, 2003.

The External Verification Audit was carried out by the Mercantile Marine Department in the months of April and June, 2004.
