Q1.What is the elevation of JNPT SEZ plot from sea level during high tide?
Answer: The Maximum high tide level in JNPT area is +5.4 M, whereas the finished plot level in SEZ is 6.8 M
Q2. How will the JNPT port be connected to area through direct road and piping corridor? What will be the width and elevation of the road and piping corridor? What is the width and elevation of existing road connected to port and provision for expansion of the road?
Answer:The main port road is adjacent and connected to the SEZ site. The main port road is 6 lane road and there is provision for expansion of the road. There is no separate dedicated pipeline corridor for SEZ.
Q3. Please give a detailed description of the JNPT port like Draft, Depth of entrance channel, LOA of vessel allowed , whether it is an all weather Port, No. of jetties
Answer: JN Port is all weather Port. The draft of channel is 14 M and depth in front of the berth is 16.5 M.
Jetties – about 27 nos.
Q4. What is the width and no of lanes in the Express Highway and which are cities and Express Highways connected to NH5 in the east coast of India?
Answer: At present 4 lane connectivity is through NH – 4 B, SH – 54 which further connects to NH-3, NH-8, NH-4, NH-17 and Expressway. The work of 6 / 8 laning is in progress from JNT to Kalamboli / Palaspe and Uran Phata on Sion – Panvel road
Q5. How many lanes are there in the Railway with details of Railway siding system for movement to JNPT port. Is there any provision in the plan for creation of rail siding in JNPT area?
Answer: Two track connectivity from JNPT to Panvel. DFCC work is in progress from Delhi to JNPT.
Q6. What are the details of state power distribution system to individual plot and location of substations? Will there be any guaranteed uninterrupted supply from state grid as per contract?
Answer: The Power supply shall be made available from MSEDCL and for individual plots plug and play facility shall be provided. The infrastructure development work is in progress and all the connecting roads, distribution lines shall be ready within 24 months
Q7. Can there be any modification and changes allowed in the plot area to the early Investors?
Answer: The sector wise Master plan is prepared and attached herewith.

Answer: Yes, the environmental clearance is received for SEZ project in December,2014 from MPCB.
Q10.Does JNPT SEZ have approval from Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB) for the overall site? Mention details.
Answer: .The Environmental clearance is issued by SEIAA Govt. of Maharashtra for SEZ project. Whereas for individual units the clearance needs to be obtained from MPCB / MOEF
Q11. What standard steps to be followed with CPCB for environment clearance based on Pollution control act, rules applicable to specific industry and its category?
Answer: As per the conditions stipulated by the MPCB / MOEF for particular industry

Q16. What is the schedule of implementation of different facilities and infrastructures to be created in and around the Industrial Park being developed by JNPT SEZ SEZ, and other organizations?
Answer: The EPC contract for infrastructure development work is in progress. The scope of work includes construction of concrete roads along with storm water drainage, water supply distribution networks, power supply distribution network along with substation, elevated water tanks, Sewage treatment plant with SBR technology, Administration building, Training Centre and Trainee hostel
Q17. What is status SPV/Special Planning Authority/DC Rule, Policy for the allotment of land and Land disposal policy
Answer: The EPC contract for infrastructure development work is in progress. The scope of work includes construction of concrete roads along with storm water drainage, water supply distribution networks, power supply distribution network along with substation, elevated water tanks, Sewage treatment plant with SBR technology, Administration building, Training Centre and Trainee hostel

- Owned by JNPT. Lease hold land free from any legal litigations. Lease of land for 30 to 60 years and eligible for further extensions.

45 MVA : To be available at site (Distribution license and power purchase agreement is in process)

- The main road is of 45 metres width. Storm water drain and street lights will be erected in either side of the road.

- The lease rent per acre is INR 16 Million per acre for 30 years (Proposal sent to government to extend it to 60 years. Option of paying on an annual basis also available)
- The rain water harvesting pits will be planned by the co-developer.
